The number of construction permits in September 2025 increased by 6.1% compared to the same period last year, according to data published by the State Statistical Office, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
"In September 2025, 314 building permits were issued, which is 6.1% more compared to the same month last year.
According to the issued construction permits, the estimated value of the buildings is 7,124,419 thousand denars, which is 5.2% less compared to the same month last year.
Of the total number of building permits issued, 220 (70.1%) are intended for high-rise buildings, 38 (12.1%) for low-rise buildings and 56 (17.8%) for buildings for reconstruction.
Of the total 314 buildings, 229 (72.9%) are owned by individuals, and 85 (27.1%) are owned by business entities.
In the reporting period, the construction of 727 apartments with a total usable area of 69.411 m2 is planned," ESHS announced. /Telegraph/
