ESHS-Macedonia: In the third quarter of this year, 10 job vacancies were registered

In the third quarter, 10.010 vacancies were registered in the country, the largest number of 1.950 was registered in services and sales, the State Statistics Agency announced today.

In the group of professionals and scientists, 1909 vacancies were registered, followed by elementary occupations-1781, occupations for non-industrial work in production-1313, machine and plant operators and assemblers-1114, technicians and similar occupations-1,001.

In the group of state officials, chief civil servants, diplomats and directors there were 33 vacancies, 28 in military occupations, 15 in professional workers in agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting.

As announced by ESHS, in the third quarter of this year the rate of job vacancies was 2.02 percent. The highest vacancy rate of 3.44 percent is in the Accommodation Facilities and Food Service sector, while the lowest rate is in the Public Administration and Defense sector; mandatory social security, which is 0.11 percent.

Business entities, with the number of employees from 10 to 49, have the highest rate of vacancies, which is 3.06 percent./Telegrafi/
