Elton Ilirjani: Businessmen who promised help for Parashqevi Simaku did not give a single dollar - they did it only for clicks

Renowned Albanian entrepreneur, Elton Ilirjani, who has stood by the legendary singer Parashqevi Simaku in the last months of her rehabilitation, has made a strong statement on the show. Opinion of Blendi Fevziu.

He discovered that many well-known Albanian businessmen, who initially offered financial assistance to the artist, did not keep their promise.

Ilirjani emphasized that in addition to Kadri Morina and those who contributed through the platform GoFundMe, no one else really helped Simak. He expressed his disappointment with those who, according to him, used this issue only for media attention.

"Apart from Mr. Kadri Morina, no one else has helped him or those who have donated to GoFundMe. No one except me and Elvira. They were simply there to get clicks, to appear in the media like some other businessmen, not a single dollar. Even leaders of Albanian organizations in New York, they took us, used us, sang, danced, took us to restaurants and didn't give us a single dollar," declared the Illyrian.

Parashqevi Simaku shocked public opinion in December of last year, when it became known that she was living on the streets, homeless, in the USA.

Her grave condition was documented by an American show, sparking a wave of reactions and support from the diaspora and Albanians around the world.

Despite numerous promises, it seems that real help for Simak has only come from a small group of people, who have supported him without media hype. /Telegraph/
