He encouraged her to jump with a rope from a height of 30 meters, the 33-year-old woman from Kazakhstan dies - the instructor is sentenced to 4 years in prison

An instructor of extreme sports, in particular that of jumping from a height with an elastic rope, has been sentenced to four years in prison, after a woman fell to her death from a height of 30 meters in front of her husband.

"My wife collapsed before my eyes," said Alexander Tkachenko, Telegrafi reports.

Yevgenia Leontyeva, 33, was skeptical about the rope jump from the roof of a hotel in Kazakhstan, despite having done such a jump before.

This mother of three had initially let her friend throw, which turned out to be a successful throw, but when it was her turn, things took a turn for the worse.

According to eyewitnesses, Yevgenia looked scared but eventually heeded the advice of instructor Alexander Muznikas, 33, who encouraged her to jump.

"He told him that it is not the first time that you are jumping. I know how to do it. Should I put on protective equipment," said a witness.

In the video, she is seen jumping from the roof of the hotel in front of her husband Alexander Tkachenko who says "I love you".

The full video has not been posted due to the heavy footage, but she crashes to the ground and then into the iron guardrail that was very close to her.

In the end, after the investigation, it was found that the instructor had not properly tied the elastic rope to the wood, which caused her death. /Telegraph/
