The Down Syndrome Kosovo (DSK) organization has launched the "Hey Kosovo, How Many?" campaign.
Within the framework of this campaign, the foundation "Go fund me"which aims to raise funds to provide therapeutic and psychosocial services for children, youth and adults with Down syndrome.
Citizens can contribute through the platform Go fund me, offering a simple and effective opportunity to support this important cause.
Citizens can also help this initiative through SMS with the text: With love in the number 55550 to the operator Vala, where each message in value 1 € will go to the fundraising fund for these essential services for children with Down syndrome.
"Currently, the challenge facing the association is securing funds, financial stability. This has been one of the main reasons why this March 21st we continued with the goal of raising funds," emphasized Riada Stanovci, social worker at DSK.
Down Syndrome Association Kosovo provides therapeutic and social services to over 300 individuals each year, helping them achieve a more independent life.
"My child, immediately after receiving the services, began to show positive results, which all of us who knew Nina have noticed. We started with physical therapy and it immediately had an impact on strengthening the child's muscles and also gave us an impact on how to treat our child at home," said Dafina Rukofci-Malaj, mother.
She lobbies for these children to be treated with dignity, and this campaign is the right moment to prove this.
Small contributions through these messages and GofundMe can make a big difference for children and young people with Down syndrome, by providing them with the necessary therapeutic and social services.
This campaign is an opportunity to show solidarity in creating equal opportunities for individuals with special needs in Kosovo.
