The 11th edition of the International Documentary and Short Film Festival, DokuFest, has opened in Prizren.
The Opening Ceremony at Kino Lumbardhi began with the screening of the film "5 Broken Cameras", directed by Emad Bornat and Guy Davidi.
At the same time, three other cinemas joined the party. Cinema above Lum showed the movie Chasing Ice and "Half a Revolution", Kino Kalaja showed the movie "Only the Young: by directors Jason Tippet, Elizabeth Mims" and "Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present".
Meanwhile, the new cinema, Kino Europa, started life with this edition of DokuFest with the screening of the film "Crulic: The path tobeyond" by director Anca Damian Rumuni.
DokuNights live concerts opened at Mullini, with the performance of the well-known group from Sarajevo, Emir and the Frozen Camels.
The organizers of DokuFest have warned that 160 documentaries and short films will be shown in this edition and that more than 200 local and international artists will arrive in Prizren this week. /rel/
