Doja Cat almost lost her Grammy award after she was on the toilet when her name was called - TV censors her speech

A very shocked Doja Cat narrowly missed accepting the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance on Sunday night in Las Vegas because she was in the bathroom when her name was called. scene.
Despite being on crutches, the other collaborator of the winning song of this award, "Kiss Me More", the artist SZA, managed to climb the stage before the 26-year-old singer accepted the honor for the recognition in this category.
Just moments later, Doja ran onto the stage and admitted to the crowd that she had "never done her business so quickly in her entire life," writes Dailymail.
Her speech was censored by the CBS channel during the live broadcast.
The singer, who was struggling to catch her breath from the rush, thanked the crowd before taking a second to adjust her ripped dress to avoid a potential wardrobe malfunction.
"I really appreciate it. Thank you to everyone, my family, my team. I wouldn't be here without you and I wouldn't be here without my fans," she said into the microphone, before addressing her colleague SZA.
"SZA, you are everything to me. You are incredible, you are the embodiment of talent. You are a songwriter, you are everything," she said, among other things.
Taking over the microphone, SZA graciously thanked Dojana for the collaboration, her mother, God and all the fans who have supported her over the years.
"I'm glad you came back in time," she told Doja when she came on stage after returning from the bathroom.
The duo received a standing ovation from the star-studded arena and fans at the Grammy Awards.
Clearly overcome with emotion, Doja broke down in tears as she admitted that this Grammy win is 'a big deal' for her and that she has often 'underestimated' her successes in the past.

Doja, struggling to put a smile on her tear-stained face, tried to gather herself in order to finish her speech.
"Damn," she said with a smile. "Thank you everyone. Be safe. Take care of yourselves," she added.
