The international airport of Tirana is expected to enable direct flights to New York starting from the end of next year.

The news was announced by Blendi Fevziu in the Opinion show.

"After the extension of the runway at Rinas Airport, it is expected that by the end of next year direct flights to New York will begin, and then to other intercontinental destinations," said Fevziu.

Albanians still have to make two or more stops to get to the United States of America. We remind you that more than four years have passed since the promise given by Prime Minister Edi Rama to have a direct line between Tirana and New York. /Telegraph/
