Details from the police action in Mitrovica, 16 people are escorted – 13 of them are taken into custody
The Kosovo Police action that began in the early hours of this morning in the south and north of Mitrovica has ended.
The operation was related to the smuggling of weapons and ammunition. As a result of this operation, 16 people were escorted to the police station, where 13 of them were detained for 48 hours.
This was announced to the Telegraph by the spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica, Valon Preteni.
He announced that the action took place in 21 locations in the south and north of Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Skenderaj and Leposaviq.
Preteni also stressed that the arrested are suspected of various criminal offenses such as "coercion", "import and export", "supply and transportation", and even "unauthorized sale of weapons". /Telegraph/
