Rice and leek pie: The most delicious recipe for any occasion!

Very tasty recipe for a nice lunch with the family.

Need:

▪ 500 g crust for pie,
▪ 500 g of leeks,
▪ 1 carrot,
▪ 150 g of rice,
▪ salt to taste,
▪ pepper to taste,
▪ 1 dl sparkling water.


Preparation:

Boil the rice in salted water, drain and set aside. Cut the leek into thin rings and fry in a little oil. When the leek softens a little, add the grated carrot.

When the vegetables are soft, add spices to taste and combine with the boiled rice. Take a crust and sprinkle with the mixture of 1 dl of sparkling water, mixed with 20 ml of oil.

Remove the excess and cover with the other crust. Sprinkle again with the sparkling water and oil mixture, remove the excess and cover with the third crust. Spray, remove the excess and roll up.

Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Repeat the procedure with the other crusts.

When all the rolls are wrapped and arranged, sprinkle with the sparkling water and oil mixture and, if desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees Celsius, until it turns brown.

Cover the baked pita with a cloth and leave it for about ten minutes, then cut it and serve it.
