Czinger wants to break more speed records

Czinger is a small supercar manufacturer out of California.

You may have heard of the 21C which recently broke a production road car record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Now Czinger is trying to set even more prestigious records, Telegraph reports.

In an interview with CarBuzz at the Festival of Speed, founder and CEO Kevin Czinger said the company wants to break another speed record next year.

While he didn't reveal exactly what kind of record the company is aiming for, the CEO said they'll be doing "a little international trip next year."

If the company is attempting to break a Nurburgring production car lap record, it will have to beat the Mercedes-AMG One.

Mercedes currently holds the record with a lap time of 6 minutes, 30.7 seconds.

The standard 21C has a 2.88-liter V8 hybrid engine that reaches up to 1350 horsepower in the Blackbird Edition. /Telegraph/
