Cristiano Ronaldo Junior on his debut with Portugal was watched by the biggest European clubs
Cristiano Ronaldo Junior made his debut for the Portugal U-15 team, where he was observed by scouts from many well-known European clubs.
The 15-year-old is the son of former Real Madrid and Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo, and seems to be a shining example.
He was called up to an U-15 team tournament in Croatia and made his debut for Portugal as a 53rd-minute substitute against Japan.
Of course, his father was proudly watching the match from the stands, but he wasn't the only important figure in the Portuguese's 4-1 victory.
According to Sun Sport and Corriere dello Sport, scouts representing top clubs were also present to closely observe the young talent.
They included Inter, Juventus and Atalanta from Italy, names like Manchester United and Tottenham from England, while there were also the Germans of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim.
It's standard procedure for these youth tournaments to spot young talent before anyone else, but when the player's father is Cristiano Ronaldo, it deserves special attention.
Cristiano Ronaldo Junior currently plays for Al Nassr's youth team, since his father transferred there in January 2023.
His career inevitably followed his father's path, so he started at Juventus' academy, moving to Manchester United in 2021. /Telegraph/
