Creamy pasta with mushrooms and chicken fillet

Mild flavors and fresh aromas for a warm family lunch
Ingredients:
• 400 g pasta (eg penne or tagliatelle)• 300 g chicken fillet• 250 g mushrooms (champignon or mixed)• 200 ml cooking cream (pana)• 1 small onion• 2 cloves of garlic• 50 g grated parmigiano cheese• 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter• Salt, pepper, fresh parsley
Preparation:
1. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions (in salted water), drain and save a glass of the cooking water.
2. Finely chop the onion, cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, and slice the mushrooms.
3. In a large skillet, heat the oil or butter, sauté the onion until translucent, then add the minced garlic.
4. Add the chicken pieces, fry until golden brown.
5. Add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
6. Add the cooking cream, a little water from the pasta to make the sauce thicker and creamier. Salt and pepper to taste.
7. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce. Add the parmesan and parsley.
8. Serve warm, with a little extra cheese on top.
