The Kosovo Special Prosecution has filed an indictment against the defendant MI, of Albanian nationality, due to well-founded suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense: "War crime against the civilian population", sanctioned by Article 142 in conjunction with Article 22 of the Criminal Law of the former SFRY.

According to the Prosecution's announcement, the investigations have established that the defendant, during the period 1998-1999 in the village of Osek Hylë in the Municipality of Gjakova, acting in complicity with members of the Serbian police forces, committed murders, rapes, arrests and mistreatment of the Albanian civilian population who were not involved in the war.
