The Porsche 911 GTS is caught testing, without any layers of camouflage

The 911 GTS model is expected to be presented in November

Now that the 911 Carrera and Carrera Cabriolet were launched, it was only a matter of time before Porsche would launch a new variant, Telegraph reports.

At the end of the year, the 911 Turbo is expected to arrive, while the new GT3 has been spotted testing. But another model was spotted being tested, even the Porsche 911 GTS, which had no camouflage coating and was photographed up close.

Designed to fill the gap between the Carrera S and the GT3, the GTS model that was first launched in 2011 was very popular at the time and Porsche wants to keep it at that level.

It has more power than the Carrera S, while being more road-friendly than the GTS, a form the manufacturer wants to continue to use.

Until it was caught testing for the first time, the 911 GTS was bare of camouflage and all parts were on display.

The lines of the engine cover have undergone slight changes, as well as those of the side parts and the grill. The rear remains the same but has a new exhaust system design.

The power of the Porsche 911 GTS is expected to have increased from 444 horsepower as it was in the previous model, in the new one it is expected to be 470 to 475 horsepower.

The show, without any layers of camouflage, shows that the new Porsche 911 GTS is ready for production and could be presented during the month of November at the LA Auto Show. /Telegraph/
