Bugatti Chiron set a speed record, managed to move at 490 kilometers per hour

Amazing speed, which leaves other supercars far behind

Last year, the Bugatti Chiron surprised everyone when it reached the speed of 400 kilometers per hour in 41.96 seconds, Telegraph reports.

Less than a month later, the Koenigsegg Agera RS surpassed this record by reaching the speed of 36.44 kilometers per hour in 475 seconds, as an even faster car.

While Koenigsegg and Hennessey both want to break the 490-kilometer, or 300-mile, barrier with the Jesko and Venom F5, all eyes are on Bugatti as to what it will do in that direction.

Although this company insists that it is not primarily speed, it is said that the Chiron has managed to overcome the barrier of 490 kilometers per hour, which is 15 kilometers per hour more than the current record holder.

Driver Andy Wallance, known for reaching a speed of 385 kilometers per hour in the McLaren F1, set a speed record, pushing the Chiron up to 490 kilometers per hour on a German track. /Telegraph/
