How Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney are taking Hollywood by storm with very different approaches, experts reveal

Since Euphoria first aired in 2019, Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney have enjoyed tremendous success, slowly solidifying their status as two of the most exciting young actresses in Hollywood.

While Zendaya was the star of the show when it first hit HBO, Sweeney has quickly become just as much of a household name, having starred in a slew of movies and TV shows in the years since.

But when it comes to establishing themselves as the leading ladies of the industry, experts have pointed out that the pair seem to be taking markedly different approaches, and Zendaya could end up enjoying the 'longest longevity in Tinsel Town'.

The American actress was a Disney Channel star, and has since gone on to appear in hit franchises, including Spider-Man: Homecoming and Dune.

Just a few months later, Zendaya returned to the big screen with a more modest project - playing the lead actress in director Luca Guadagnino's Oscar-nominated film Challengers.

Meanwhile, Sweeney started acting at age 12 and had starred in The Handmaid's Tale and Sharp Objects before Euphoria, but the HBO show was arguably her big break.

The second season saw her receive praise for her portrayal of her character, Cassie, and the actress kept the momentum going by diving into a number of TV and film projects after Euphoria ended its second season.

She first appeared in the crime drama which aired on HBO in the US, but had a theatrical run in international markets taking it to a total of $1.4 million worldwide gross. /Telegraph/
