Long columns of vehicles have formed today on the Peja-Prishtina road, causing heavy traffic congestion and delays for drivers.

According to several photos sent by readers of the Telegraph, the flow of vehicles has increased significantly in the segment from the Business Park to Sllatine, where a significant slowdown in traffic is observed.

The heaviest traffic is reported near the Veternik highway junction, where vehicles move at a slow pace and occasionally come to a complete stop.

Drivers say that the waits have lasted up to three hours, while heavy traffic is observed on the ground, especially in the direction of Pristina.

The exact cause of the traffic jams is still unknown, while citizens are advised to use alternative routes if possible and to exercise increased caution while driving, especially near highway junctions and exits.
