Beneficiaries of social schemes in Kosovo during March 2025, who experienced a decrease and increase?

The Kosovo Agency of Statistics has published social welfare statistics for March 2025.

According to the press release, it is known that in March 2025, compared to March 2024, there was a decrease in the number of beneficiaries from: the disability pension scheme (-35,7%); the Trepça pension scheme (-35,6%); the social assistance scheme (-20,6%); the family pension scheme (-14,9%); the pension scheme for persons with disabilities (-10,7%); the scheme for families of martyrs and war invalids (-3,2%); the compensation scheme for blind persons (-2,0%); the contributory old-age pension scheme (-0,9%).

Whereas, in March 2025, compared to March 2024, there was an increase in the number of beneficiaries from: the scheme for financial support to families with children with disabilities (24,7%); the Kosovo Security Force pension scheme (22,3%); the scheme for Paraplegic and Tetraplegic Pensions (21,4%); the compensation scheme for education workers who worked during the 1990/91 school year to the 1998/99 school year (10,7%); the basic age pension scheme (12,7%); the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC) pension scheme (6,4%); the scheme for war veterans (0,4%).
