A king went to his garden and discovered that his trees, bushes, and flowers were dying.

The Oak told him that he was dying because he could no longer grow and become as tall as the Pine.

When the king turned to the Pine Tree, he found it miserable because it could not bear grapes like the Vine.

He went to the Vine, which was about to die because it could not bloom like the Rose.

The rose cried because it could not grow and become tall and strong like the oak.

Finally, the king found a plant that surprised him. It was a simple strawberry, blooming. It was both happy and fresh like no other.

And the king asked him:

"How is it possible that you grow up healthy in the middle of this withered and gloomy garden?"

And Strawberry replied:

"I don't know. Maybe it's because I've always thought that when you planted me, you loved me because I was a strawberry. If you had loved an Oak or a Rose, you would have planted that. At that moment, I said to myself, 'I'm going to try to be the best Strawberry I can be.'"

So, try to contribute to your ability. Just look at yourself. There is no way you can be someone else. You can enjoy it and flourish, watered by your self-love, or you can wither in your own curse.

This story makes us reflect...

Sometimes we insist on being something we are not and we want to copy others. We are all different, each of us has our own essence, talents and gifts, but we are all valuable, just as we are; you don't need to change to be accepted.

The important thing here is to accept and love yourself just as you are. Because we are unique and unrepeatable, we are wonderful and valuable.

Focus on yourself, on being better every day, and you will see how everything will turn out much better.
