DUI: The owner of the Kocani discotheque is taken by the police without handcuffs, while Kreshnik Bekteshi is in handcuffs and with a media presence

The Democratic Union for Integration has reacted to the institutional handling of the Koçan tragedy, in which dozens of people were deprived of their liberty.

DUI says that the owner of the discotheque where the accident occurred was arrested without handcuffs, while former minister Kreshnik Bekteshiu was arrested in handcuffs and in the presence of the media.

The opposition DUI calls this action manipulation, while adding that they will not remain silent.

This is shame. This is spectacle. This is absurdity.
The direct perpetrator of the tragedy, the owner of the club that burned down and took the lives of 59 young people in Kocani, is taken away by the police WITHOUT handcuffs, while a former minister, who has no connection to this tragedy, was escorted away WITH handcuffs, under maximum media attention, after cameras had been invited beforehand.
This is an institutional shame.
This is pure manipulation.
This is a travesty of justice.
We will not remain silent in the face of this absurdity!
