Barcelona secure the Leverkusen star as their first signing of 2025
Barcelona have reportedly secured their first signing of 2025, with Jonathan Tah set to join from Bayer Leverkusen.
The German centre-back has agreed to a move to Camp Nou after reaching an agreement with his agent, Pini Zahavi.
His transfer to Barcelona will come in the summer as a free agent, as his contract with the Bundesliga champions also expires.
At 28, Tah has been a key player for Bayer Leverkusen, having played a vital role in their Bundesliga title-winning season last term, and is known for his strong defensive skills and leadership on the pitch.
Barcelona are looking to strengthen their defense ahead of next season and Tah's experience at the highest level is seen as a valuable addition to the squad.
Barcelona could also look to sell defenders like Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo to help fund future moves. /Telegraph/
