Barcelona has decided to buy a midfielder - list of three potential candidates

Barcelona has decided to transfer a new midfielder this summer and now three options are being considered by the club, as it aims to find an economic balance.
After losing Sergio Busquets last season, the Blaugrana decided on the transfer of Oriol Romeu to fill the void left by the Spaniard. However, the move did not go to plan for Barcelona as the 32-year-old featured in just 17 league games.
For this reason, the club has decided to create a list of three potential candidates, to strengthen this position.
According to Sports world, the three names on the list are Guido Rodriguez (Real Betis), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) and Amadou Onana (Everton).
Guido Rodriguez is seen as the most likely acquisition for Barcelona due to economic problems and non-compliance with La Liga's financial rules. Rodriguez would be available as a free agent, and for a low salary.
Bayern veteran Kimmich is lined up as the second option due to his experience in the position. The German midfielder was always linked with a move to Barcelona, this is because he had worked with former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola for a while.
Onana remains the last option, but it would be the most expensive of the three names mentioned. His transfer to Catalonia would only be possible for a hefty sum of money. The 22-year-old has attracted the interest of several big clubs in Europe, and for this reason Everton have decided to set a price of 100 million euros./Telegraph/
