Following its European debut in 2020, the Volvo P1800 Cyan will make its US debut at The Quail, an event where sports car enthusiasts gather, on August 9 during Monterey Car Week.
American customers will have the opportunity to place orders for the purchase of this car during the event, while the initial price of the car will be 700 thousand dollars.
The Volvo P1800 made its debut in 1960, and its production continued until the early 1970s. Cyan Racing decided to build this car, first by taking the redesigned design of the racing car and combining it with technology of the last few days, Telegraph reports.
The car's power comes from four turbo 2.0 cylinders giving it a speed of 420 horsepower.
The engine has a limit of 7,700 revolutions, while a similar version of the engine is also found in the Volvo S60 TC1 racing car. /Telegraph/
