Appealed the seizure decision, GJKKO upholds the decision on Ajola Xoxa's mother's assets

The appeal of the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) has upheld the decision of the Special Court of First Instance, confirming the asset security measure for the seizure of the assets of Valbona Xoxa, the mother of Ajola Xoxa.

The decision was announced today, March 10, 2025, by Judge Engert Pëllumbi.

Despite Valbona Xoxa's appeal against the decision of February 10, 2025, the Court of Appeal has decided to approve the seizure measure for her immovable property. This decision can be appealed to the High Court within 45 days from its notification.

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of Judge Engert Pëllumbi, today on 10.03.2025, announced the decision on criminal case no. 12, dated 27.02.2025, registered on the appeal of the appellant VX, with the subject: "Appeal against decision no. 84, dated 10.02.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, regarding the determination of the asset insurance measure, preventive seizure, on immovable property", and decided:

Approval of decision no. 84, dated 10.02.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.

This decision may be appealed to the Supreme Court within 45 days from the day after its notification.

Meanwhile, this morning, the wife of Mayor Erion Veliaj appeared at the Criminal Court for a hearing on the seizure of her phone and the searches conducted at her businesses.
