Analysts comment on the position-opposition clashes for the dialogue and the "take it or leave it" ultimatum for the Franco-German proposal

The Assembly of Kosovo has today started a parliamentary debate on the developments within the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that Western diplomats warned him in January that any rejection of the European proposal for the normalization of relations with Serbia would be accompanied by punitive measures for Kosovo.

Analysts at RTV Dukagjini have commented on the clashes between the opposition positions in the Assembly of Kosovo and the positions of the parties in the dialogue.

They think that it is problematic that Kosovo is now in a "take it or leave it" position with the European proposal for the final agreement, while there is little opportunity to change things.

Analyst Ylli Hoxha said that in the parliamentary debate on developments within the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, it was clarified that there is a plan to implement the agreement.

"Two things were clarified today: that there is a plan for the implementation of the agreement, and besides that there is an implementation plan, and within this plan at least one point is to implement it, to create the Association's statute. These two young women came from Kurti", said Hoxha.

According to him, regarding the implementation plan, Kurti says that it is negotiable, but Hoxha's concern is that the negotiation effect is minimal.

"It will be as big as it was in the basic document, which has changed very little," declared Hoxha.

Former minister Dardan Gashi says that the opposition is unclear about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

According to him, so far they have not had any position for or against the Association.

"The opposition must have a position in relation to the Association. Either you are for it or you are against it. Apparently, they woke up late to challenge the Prime Minister on this topic. If until now they have opposed the prime minister because he is not accepting the Association, since today they are criticizing him since he is accepting it".

Analyst Astrit Gashi says that Kurti does not consider the opposition at all in relation to the dialogue.

"Why this happens is that the two major opposition parties have changed their positions regarding the dialogue. LDK and PDK have mistakenly supported Kurti in every action he has taken during the last four months. Kurti sends the troops to the north, he supports them, for the license plates as well. There was no need for the opposition to be a machine of the LVV, and now they oppose it".

Analyst Dibran Hoxha says that the agreement with Serbia will not have any effect on the lives of citizens.

"We need to know if the agreement has changed something in terms of content. If we have reached the point where the agreement must be "take it or leave it", we must know what will happen to us if we leave it. Nothing finds us. We don't have visas or anything. We lose nothing... If there is no recognition, reject this plan".

Analyst Visar Ymeri has said that the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is deliberately deceiving about the dialogue.

He says that the Franco-German plan is the product of Kurt's negotiation.

"Until last night, he told us that the Franco-German plan is negotiable. He deceived us, Kurti is changing his attitudes, but the problem is that he is deliberately deceiving. If we look at last week in the assembly and today, I noticed an interesting thing whenever Kurti feels embarrassed because of arguments that he can't face he does two things, on the one hand he puts some tricks like to pass the debate and on the other hand he goes wild in the attack on the opposition... Today Kurti admitted an interesting thing that the Franco-German plan is a result of a negotiation that he himself did. It's not the Franco-German plan that they brought immediately without talking to the parties and said that you should always accept it", Ymeri added./Telegrafi/
