Noam Bettan to represent Israel at Eurovision 2026
Noam Bettan will represent Israel at the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Vienna this May.
He won the "HaKokhav HaBa" competition.
The same began his musical career during his mandatory military service in the IDF and attracted the attention of the local public in 2018 after winning third place in the "Aviv" competition.

In 2024, he released the song "Pokeach Einayim", the lyrics of which were written by IDF commander Yaron Oree Shay, who was killed in a Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
The artist stated that he was very proud, thanked the audience, and said that there had been many ups and downs on this journey.
"My message to Europe is to prepare. We will bring a song of praise, we will bring everything we have. We will bring light and love and we will unite," he emphasized, among other things.
As is known, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain withdrew from the Eurovision Song Contest because Israel was allowed to compete.

The first semi-final will be held on May 12 at the Wiener Stadthalle.
