Unusual traveler, a raccoon "went" by car to Belarus

Customs officials in Belarus said a car shipped into the country turned out to have a strange passenger inside: a raccoon.

Belarusian customs authorities said the car was one of several in a shipping container that arrived in the country by ship.

Customs investigators noticed the raccoon and took the animal to the Oshmyany District Veterinary Station.

The raccoon, now named Senya, will be in quarantine until February 3, when authorities will decide whether he will have a new home at the Grodno Zoo or the Naliboki Forest. /Telegraph/
