Workers of KRU "HIDRODRINI" start strike tomorrow, demand salary increase of 110 euros

The Trade Union of Workers of KRU "HIDRODRINI" has announced that it will hold a warning strike on December 17, 2025, from 09:00 to 10:00, at the company's headquarters on "Lekë Dukagjini" street in Peja.

According to the announcement, the decision was made at the Strike Council meeting on December 11, 2025 and, according to the union, comes as a result of the lack of official responses from the company's management and responsible institutions, despite the letters and negotiations held so far.

The workers are demanding a linear increase in salaries worth 110 euros for all employees, equalization of breakfast with other enterprises in the sector worth 5 euros, as well as the payment of the 13th salary for all employees at the KRU "HIDRODRINI".

The Trade Union Association has warned that if, after the warning strike, concrete steps are not taken to address their demands, the union actions will escalate to a general strike.

The union has emphasized that it remains open to dialogue, but determined to protect workers' rights. /Telegrafi/
