Xabi Alonso is expected to be officially confirmed as the new coach of Real Madrid very soon.
The Spanish coach announced a few days ago that he will leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season and has already reached an agreement with the new club.
According to the transfer expert, Fabrizio romano, Alonso has signed a contract with Real Madrid and will be the successor to coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Alonso's contract with the royal club is three years and he is expected to start work in February, before the start of the Club World Cup.
