AKR and DP officially on the LDK list

The Justice Party (PD) and the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) will cooperate with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) in the extraordinary parliamentary elections, which will be held on December 28, 2025.
The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, has announced that the DP will have two candidates on the LDK list, while the AKR will have three candidates.
He described this union as a "natural union between forces that believe in the state, in law, in development and in the Euro-Atlantic orientation of Kosovo."
"In these elections, LDK is building a front of responsibility. An alliance for good governance, for the restoration of institutions, for transparency, for the economy, for merit, for the citizen and for our common Kosovo," said Abdixhiku.
He added that the merger with the DP and AKR reflects the values of the pro-Western orientation and the aim for a stable and visionary government, as well as for accelerating Kosovo's path towards the European Union, NATO and the United Nations, strengthening the partnership with the United States.
"This unity is part of the LDK's greatest effort: to build a new political majority that brings the country out of crisis, opens up development, restores hope, and leads Kosovo with prudence and dignity. We are uniting. We are strengthening. We are building victory. Kosovo needs responsibility. Kosovo needs hope. Kosovo needs LDK," Abdixhiku concluded./Telegrafi.
