During Saturday, the relevant teams of Family Medicine Centers in the country were supplied with insulin by the Ministry of Health.
These supplies are being made after four months of absence of these vital preparations for patients with diabetes, until the Ministry of Health was supplied with them on Friday where it also invited the municipalities to receive these medicines.
Since these supplies are being made during this weekend, the pharmacies of the KKMF in the municipalities do not work on Saturdays and Sundays, except for working days.
However, the HCMF of Viti has made a decision so that insulin-addicts no longer have to wait for supplies, so it has opened its doors for citizens this weekend.
The KKMF in Obiliq has also shown this willingness, where on Sunday the pharmacy unit will work from 8:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. in the afternoon.
However, some of the large municipalities such as Prizren, Peja and Fushë Kosova will distribute insulin to citizens from Monday.
The Ministry of Health has supplied Novomix, Novorapid and Levemir insulins.
