"A woman died from an overdose, noises are heard all night", uninhabited houses in the capital are shelters for drug addicts

Uninhabited houses became shelters for a while and then turned into mortuary sites.

Dozens of news have been published on the Internet where people from different cities of Kosovo have died in abandoned houses. Most of them in dubious circumstances, which were then forgotten.

The same thing happened a year ago on "Ferat Dragaj" street in "Bregu i Diellit" neighborhood in Pristina.

The residents of that part have shown that until the day of her death, a woman in her 62s lived in the house bearing the number 2012, which has been abandoned since 30.

According to them, another person was staying there, while the residents claim that the cause of death was drugs and an overdose from narcotics, even though neither the Police nor the Prosecutor's Office ever made this known.

Indeed, her death had shocked the neighborhood and the entire capital.

According to the Police, the young woman was found without signs of life in the lobby of the second floor of a building located in front of the abandoned house where she lived.

Residents are afraid that such an event may happen again.

They told Kiksi that they often cannot sleep because of the noises coming from the people staying there.

The biggest fear these residents have is for the children. The house, located in the middle of many residential houses, is a daily crossing point for children who pass there first. In fact, the elementary school "Ismail Qemali" is located a few meters away from the same house, already known as a haven for drug users.

It seems that these people, some young and some even old, who enter that house, and have been seen using different narcotics, at different times of the day go out and ask for money.

This was said by the resident of this neighborhood, Bekim Maliqi. He even says that they asked for money from the very children who pass by on that road.

Although they have been waiting for years, the residents of "Ferrat Dragaj" in the Sunshine Coast remain hopeful that the disclosure of their concerns and the publication of images from that house will make the relevant directors from the Municipality of Pristina act against this situation. /Klan Kosova/
