A Volkswagen Golf "produced" many years ago in Sarajevo is currently being sold in Germany

A copy of the first-generation Volkswagen Golf JGL model, which rolled out of the Sarajevo Automobile Plant, is currently being sold through classifieds in Germany.

According to Bosnian media, Telegrafi reports, the car is located in Murr in Baden-Württemberg in southwestern Germany and is sold for 6600 euros.


It is said to have been registered for the first time in May 1979 and has covered 99,722 kilometers.

It is about a car that is powered by a 1.1 liter gasoline engine, which when new produced 50 hp.

Its owner provided some details in the ad description.

"It is with a broken heart that I am selling my first generation TAS Golf, I have had it since May 2017 and it was previously owned by a family who drove it in the former Yugoslavia. I'm selling it because I live in Hamburg and I can't take care of the repairs, because the corrosion cannot pass the technical inspection...,” reads the ad description. /Telegraph/
