A new model is coming, a Tesla car under 30 thousand euros!

The Tesla company is developing the next Model Q codenamed Redwood, and this electric car is expected in 2025.

The Model Q will reportedly cost less than $30,000 (and possibly as much as $25,000), be smaller and lighter than the Model 3, and have a range of 500 kilometers, reports the Telegraph.

Tesla has long dominated the electric car market thanks to its premium models like the Model S and Model X, as well as slightly more affordable options like the Model 3 and Model Y.

However, affordability remains one of the main challenges to expanding the adoption of electric cars, especially in competitive markets such as China and the US.

To address this issue, Tesla is preparing to unveil its most affordable car yet, the Model Q.

This car was rumored earlier this year and it was said that it could have an HW5 FSD computer for autonomous driving with a modern 3nm processor.

Encased in Redwood, the Model Q will be 15% smaller and 30% lighter than the Model 3 with a length of 3,988mm.

By reducing size and weight, Tesla will likely reduce production costs, which will allow the company to compete more directly with more affordable rivals in an increasingly competitive market.

The Q model will be powered by LFP batteries with a capacity of 53 and 75 kWh, which will enable a range of up to 500 kilometers. In addition to batteries, customers will be able to choose between rear and all-wheel drive.

Tesla's strategy for the Model Q goes beyond affordability, as the car will cost around $19,280 in China, which could be an advantage in a very competitive market. /Telegraph/
