Both cholesterol and triglycerides are fats in the blood, and when levels of these lipids become too high, they can increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.
However, a drink can help because it acts as an antiglyceride.
Cholesterol values should be monitored throughout life, because due to high levels, the heart suffers pressure and pumps harder, so it risks weakening prematurely due to extra work. This increases the risk of developing heart disease, heart attack and even stroke.
To avoid such life-threatening conditions, it's best to get checked regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle – including diet and drinks that help control and even reduce cholesterol and triglycerides, the Telegraph reports.
Ingredients:
▪ 6 lemons,
▪ 4 celery,
▪ 1 liter of water.
Preparation:
Dip a lemon in water in which you have dissolved a small spoonful of baking soda. Leave it on for ten minutes, then rinse with clean water. Then cut the lemons with all the skin into cubes.
Peel and chop the celery. Mix it with lemon and pour a liter of water over it.
Let the mixture stand for 24 hours, then strain through cheesecloth.
Keep the drink in the refrigerator and drink a small amount before each meal. /Telegraph/
