"7Arte creative corner" is a cafe-bookstore on the 6th floor of the former OSCE building in Mitrovica. "Creative Corner" is in the heart of the city of Mitrovica and is run by the non-profit cultural organization 7arte.
This is an open meeting place for young people who can discuss and develop their new ideas in order to make positive changes in society, both locally and globally. The "Creative Corner" is a 120 square meter space with a terrace, designed to bring together young people who can express their ideas and talents. Group discussions, film screenings, lectures, poetry nights, exhibitions of local artists, musical performances, art exhibitions will be organized in "KK" and it will also be used for small cultural events.
Since two years, 7arte in cooperation with "Blackbirds Library" have been operating the library with more than 600 books
in many languages, a library which will be available to guests in "KK". At the same time, the French Embassy will donate to the "Creative Corner" a significant number of books in the French language.
The "KK" center will allow visitors to reflect and be inspired with creative ideas, while on the other hand the staff from "7arte" will help them develop their project proposals. "Creative Corner" strives to present the latest works which reflect a variety of artistic developments taking place locally as well as nationally.
"KK" will be open to the public starting Saturday, October 8, 2011. As well as on other days from Monday to Saturday from: 10:00-10:00.
