A massive fire broke out at Tata Electronics Limited's (TEL) facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India, on Saturday, causing significant disruption to its operations.

According to foreign media, Telegrafi reports, the facility plays a crucial role in the assembly of components for Apple's iPhone, and the fire outbreak led to operational setbacks even as fire crews worked to control the fire.


According to reports, about 1500 workers were on duty during the first shift at the time of the incident.

All employees were safely evacuated and no casualties or injuries were reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out early in the morning, causing panic among the workers.

And while the flames were eventually brought under control, the incident reportedly severely affected the production line.
