Agreement reached on 'almost everything' - Zelensky reveals where 'main differences remain' in talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has briefed reporters on the discussions following the conclusion of the latest round of trilateral talks.
He said that all three sides - the US, Ukraine and Russia - were "constructive" on the military aspect of the talks, the Telegraph reports.
"The military understands how to monitor a ceasefire and the end of the war, provided it has the necessary political will," he said.
"In general, they have reached agreement on almost everything. Monitoring will certainly include the American side. I consider this a constructive signal," he added.
But Zelensky says the main differences remain with the "political dimension" of the talks, such as territory.
He explained that Ukraine can see that the foundation has been laid, but for now, positions remain different.
"In short, on the military front I have heard that there has been progress; on the political front there has been dialogue and an agreement to move forward and continue discussions," he added.
"I haven't heard about the same level of progress there as in the military aspect. But I would emphasize once again that my team said that they can't report everything to me over the phone. They would like to, but they can't at this stage," the Ukrainian president concluded. /Telegraph/
