Journalist Christiane Amounpour has followed up on US President Donald Trump's recent comments to Zelensky, in which Trump said: "Russia wants to make a deal and Zelensky will have to act, otherwise he will miss a great opportunity."
She asked Zelensky if he was feeling pressure.
The Ukrainian leader, who paused briefly before answering, said "a little," a response that was met with laughter.
But he added that he "understands the president."
Regarding the elections, Zelensky was asked if he is prepared to announce a plan.
To this, he replied: "I'm ready to show that we are ready."
Noting this, he added that if Ukraine is given a two-month ceasefire, "they will go to the polls." /Telegraph/
