Hoxha skeptical about Albin Kurti forming a government after the February 9 elections, he needs a coalition

Political analyst, Ylli Hoxha, has expressed doubts regarding the possibility of the current Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, forming the government himself after the upcoming parliamentary elections on February 9.

Although the Vetevendosje Movement aims to secure 500 votes in these elections, Hoxha believes that a coalition will be necessary.

According to him, Kurti will have to select a co-governance partner in order to form the new government.

On the contrary, he foresees another scenario, where the prime minister could withdraw from the idea of governing and give the opposition the opportunity to form the government.

"My expectations are actually that Mr. Kurti will be able to form the government himself as he has done. As it seems, he will not be able to. There will have to be a coalition, a willingness to cooperate. Or will this be the option, where Mr. Kurti selects one of his partners to lead for the next four years."

"And the third option where Mr. Kurti gives up, although he is the first, the idea of governing for a certain time. And gives space to the opposition to form the government," Hoxha declared on the "Debat Plus" show.
