Xheneta reacts to criticism after the ironic video with Brikenda: Be 'touchy', moralists, many of you even so-called 'VIPs'

After publishing a video where she is seen together with Brikenda making irony about the relationship between Gjesti and Egli, Xheneta has reacted harshly to the criticism she has received on social media, especially from her followers whom she calls "wool moralists".

In a long post on Instagram, she addressed those who, according to her, have reacted with double standards, recalling the moments when she felt left alone in the face of the attacks and public insults she received during her experience on the show.

Below is Xheneta's full statement:
Wool moralists, many of you also so-called 'VIPs',
I see that you're 'touched' by a completely normal video where I make fun of something that is known and has been said by the protagonists themselves.
I gave you material with moralizing! Quite clear!
But, I have just one question for you:
Where were you when, not once, but several times, in the most despicable way possible, I was morally offended and my family was affected, and I continue to receive all kinds of threats and comments every day in front of millions of Albanians? Where were you to protect me, at least through reactions, a woman who was being unfairly targeted? Where were you in the media world when a colleague of yours put a price on another woman LIVE on national television?
Until when with double standards? Until when?
When you have different reactions, there's only one thing you can do - keep quiet!

Her statement has sparked huge discussions online, with some followers supporting her for her sincerity and courage, while others have criticized her for the way she expressed herself.
