Acting Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, stated in the Anti-Corruption Agency that he was compensated for the loss of luggage on an official trip to Croatia.
According to the asset declaration, Sveçla was compensated with 342 euros for the loss of his luggage.
Further, based on the asset declaration form for 2024, the acting minister has declared that he jointly owns a house worth 600 thousand euros and also a shop worth 650 thousand euros.
Sveçla has declared that he has 2 thousand 647 euros in cash, the origin of which, according to the declaration, comes from his salary. The declaration states that in his position as minister, he has an annual income of 19 thousand 468 euros. Meanwhile, during 2024, Sveçla received 2 thousand 798 euros in salary for official travel abroad.
As movable property, he declared a "Hyundai" car worth 11 thousand euros, purchased on credit and owned by his wife.
Also, Sveçla has taken out a loan from a bank in the amount of 19 euros, while the current remaining payment value is 500 euros.
