Jude Bellingham will play in a different role next season.
According to Marca, Real Madrid's sporting directors see the 21-year-old as a central midfielder and intend to use him in that position in attack.
This means that Bellingham will play further away from the opponent's goal and will have to focus more on defensive duties.
The Madrid club believes that transferring the Englishman to this role will make the team more competitive overall.
In the current La Liga season, Bellingham has made 28 appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 8 assists. /Telegraph/
