Acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, has announced that work has begun on the complete regulation of the fecal and atmospheric sewage system at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK).

According to him, the investment of 1.3 million euros will finally solve one of the biggest infrastructure problems of UCCK, as this system has not been intervened in since the 60s.

"We are starting work on the complete regulation of the fecal and atmospheric sewage system at UCCK. 👉🏻 With an investment of 1.3 million euros, we are finally solving one of UCCK's biggest infrastructure problems, a system that has not been intervened since the 60s and which has caused flooding of basements in several clinics for decades," Vitia wrote.

The malfunctioning of the current network for decades has caused basements in some clinics to flood, creating risks and difficulties in their operation.

The project, which is expected to last three years, will completely modernize the sewage network, ensuring better conditions, more safety and functionality for medical staff and patients.

Vitia emphasized that this investment is part of efforts to improve the overall infrastructure within UCCK and guarantee appropriate standards in health services. /Telegraph/
