Woody Allen saddened by Diane Keaton's death

American director Woody Allen is deeply shocked by the death of actress Diane Keaton, who passed away on Saturday, October 11, at the age of 79.
According to People magazine, when Allen learned of Diana's death, he was extremely shocked.
A source close to the director stated that "he was very upset, surprised and devastated" and that the loss of his former partner made him think about death.

Keaton's health has been deteriorating in recent months, but Allen, according to a source, was unaware of the seriousness of the situation.
"He is very shaken, shocked and deeply upset. He started thinking about his own mortality," said a source close to the director.
Woody and Diane began their relationship in 1969 while working on his play "Play It Again, Sam," in which Keaton had the lead role.
Although their love story only lasted a few years, their professional collaboration continued long after.

They worked together on several films, including the 1977 cult romantic comedy "Annie Hall," which won Allen an Oscar for directing.
Their relationship has always been characterized by mutual respect and trust.
Diane Keaton publicly supported Allen in 2018 when his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow accused him of abuse. /Telegraph/
