Will Serbian mayors be sworn in before the Kosovo flag and the President's photo?

Tomorrow at 11 o'clock the mayors of the four northern municipalities of Kosovo will be sworn in. Thus, power will be returned from the Albanians to the mayors of the Serbian List. Television has provided photographs showing that the state flags of the Republic of Kosovo and the photograph of the President of the state have been placed in the Municipal Assemblies. The Ministry of Local Government has created teams to monitor the inaugural sessions, warning that if they are not held in accordance with the laws and the Constitution of Kosovo, they will be declared illegal.
The mayors of the four northern municipalities of Kosovo, all members of the Serbian List, will officially assume their duties on Friday at 11:00, but in front of the state flag of the Republic, and in the background with a photograph of the President of the State.
Photographs provided by TV Dukagjini show the preparations that were made at one of the Municipal Assemblies.
Whether the Serbian mayors will take the oath and respect the state and laws of Kosovo will be understood tomorrow.
Acting Minister of Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi, stated to TV Dukagjin that, like other municipalities, the new mayors of North Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok are obliged to respect the law and the Constitution during the transfer of power to them.
Bilingualism, state symbols, and official invitations in accordance with the law, according to Krasniqi, have shown that the inauguration will take place normally, otherwise, the measures warn.
"MLGA has created teams to monitor the inaugural sessions, which will be physically present at all meetings to ensure compliance with all constitutional and legal procedures. In any case where non-compliance with these procedures is found, MLGA will declare the relevant sessions illegal and illegitimate, according to the legislation in force in the Republic of Kosovo," said Krasniqi.
One of the mayors who will end his service tomorrow is Izmir Zeqiri, who will personally hand over the post of mayor of Zubin Potok to his successor, Miloš Perović.
"The session begins at 11 o'clock, a solemn session where the oath of office must be taken by both the assembly members and the incoming president, and then he is fully empowered with a mandate. I am ready to congratulate him, to carry out those protocol procedures, accepting the handover, to start tomorrow, after he receives the mandate and of course I am ready, why not, to congratulate him," said Zeqiri.
Zeqiri says that if the new president attempts to hold the session outside of official institutions, he personally will not participate and will not offer the opportunity to move the work of the Assembly and conduct illegal work.
In North Mitrovica, Erden Atiqi of Vetëvendosje will hand over the task to Milan Radojević of the Serbian List. In Zvečan, Ilir Peci of PDK will give up his seat to Dragiša Milović, while in place of Lulzim Hetemi of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Zoran Todić, also from the Serbian List, will return to the chair of mayor of Leposavic.
