Apart from PDK, which still has no position regarding the vote on international agreements, LDK and AAK have said they will vote for them because they are not blocking such processes. Political experts say that a common language must be found on this issue because Kosovo has lost enough so far.

The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has removed the dilemmas regarding the constitution of the Parliament and the formation of the government.

But the dilemma is whether the tenth legislature will vote "in favor" of the 2026 budget and international agreements.

"Neither the election of the president nor the approval of international agreements pass without the votes of opposition MPs."

"Therefore, I do not know what positions the opposition parties will hold in the coming weeks and months. Is it clear that neither international agreements nor the re-election of the president, the election of the president, we cannot pass without having MPs from the opposition. Meanwhile, the blockades regarding the constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the government were removed by the people on December 28", declared Albin Kurti - chairman of the LVV.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo, which came second in the December 28 elections, does not yet have a position on these issues, because they are waiting for the Assembly to be constituted.

And the Democratic League of Kosovo says that they have voted and will vote for agreements that are in the interest of Kosovo.

"LDK is a state-building party and we never see international agreements as a tool for daily political warfare. We understand that these agreements are vital for economic development and capital projects that directly affect the lives of citizens, as well as maintaining relations with our strategic partners, as the failure to vote for them damages Kosovo's credibility in the international arena. Regarding Mr. Kurti's statement, we must be clear: the main responsibility for securing votes and the smooth running of affairs in the Assembly belongs to the majority. LDK has voted and will continue to vote for those agreements that are in the interest of the Republic of Kosovo. If the next government does not have the votes, this is a consequence of their inability to manage their numbers within the parliamentary group and the lack of cooperation with the opposition. We remain committed to our constructive role, by not blocking processes that serve the state, but by demanding accountability for any failure of any government in managing legislative processes," declared Anton Çuni from LDK

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo is also clear about this. They are saying that they have never been an obstacle to agreements that are in the interest of the country.

Meanwhile, university professor Dritëro Arifi is saying that these agreements are important and a common language must be found to pass them.

"Especially international agreements related to the European Union for the growth plan with the World Bank, but also other agreements, coordination and cooperation are important because there must be 2/3 of the votes to pass international agreements or with numbers over 80 people must vote in favor for those agreements to be ratified in the Kosovo Assembly, I do not see that the opposition will create a problem for these agreements because they are a great impulse for Kosovo and the economy that Kosovo must create in the coming days," stated Dritëro Arifi - professor of international relations.

Last year, after many failures to constitute the Assembly, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on November 11 called a session with several items on the agenda, including the formation of parliamentary committees, then the first review of the draft law on budget allocations, and the ratification of several international agreements. But this session was boycotted by the PDK, LDK, and AAK, calling it illegal. /Tv Dukagjini/
