Who will win the Champions League according to the Opta supercomputer?

With eight teams left in the Champions League, Opta's supercomputer has calculated each team's chances of winning the competition.

Opta simulates the development of the tournament thousands of times (about 40 thousand), thus determining the percentage probability that each team will win or not its round.

The algorithm is then updated match by match, obviously, based on the results and performances of all teams.

Barcelona is the team with the highest percentage of winning at 20,4 percent, an increase of 5 percent.

Behind them are Paris Saint-Germain, who have a chance according to Opta's supercomputer of 19.3 percent, a significant increase of 10,5 percent.

Third is Arsenal with a chance of 16.8 percent, a possible increase of 3.2 percent, after passing the 1/8 stage.

Simone Inzaghi's side have seen their chances of winning the title increase from 12.7 percent to 16. percent, placing them ahead of Real Madrid, who stand at 11.6 percent.
