While posing near a scenic area in Egypt, a Chinese tourist is hit by waves and slammed into rocks – she miraculously survives

A tourist escaped the worst after being slammed into rocks by a wave while posing for a photo on a dangerous ledge at an Egyptian seaside attraction.
The woman, from China, was visiting the Matrouh Eye scenic area in the city of Mersa Matruh when the horrific incident occurred, the Telegraph reports.
Footage of the moment, shared on social media, shows the woman in an orange summer dress sitting on the edge of a ledge near the water as a wave rises behind her.
The foaming wave can then be seen crashing towards her and eventually over her, knocking her down and pulling her out to sea.
After this experience, she told local media that she suffered numerous scratches on her body and described the experience as 'very scary'.
She said she was lucky not to be seriously injured and would be more careful when traveling in the future.
The woman added that she had miraculously managed to return to shore by holding on to a safety rope in place. /Telegraph/
